Verdant first opened its doors in Crouch End 25 years ago.The aim was to do things differently and back then that meant putting the natural world at the heart of the business. It was one of the first shops in London to sell organically grown flowers, often supplied by local allotment holders and gardeners. Alongside beautiful gardenesque arrangements of flowers, Verdant championed many small brands that are now major high street names. Verdant’s unstructured, natural style of floristry and styling became sought after for weddings and events, overtaking that first little shop to become a workshop based business. In 2021 we moved to our new home in Cressida Road where we stock a range of products that help reduce waste, use fewer resources and support small, ethically minded businesses.
